JAMSHEDPUR, MAY 9 : Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company (Jusco), a 100% subsidiary of Tata Steel and the only private sector player in the civic utilities sector, is fast spreading its wings in the country, especially the water & sanitation sector.

Jusco sources said the PHED department of the Bihar government has fixed an 18-month deadline for completing the work (at Muzzaffarpur), which will be followed by a three-month trial run of the system and bearing of responsibility for operation & maintenance of it for another six months.

On May 4, at the end of a gruelling final against celebrity chef Stuart Gillies, the panel of three judges on the BBC’s prime time cook-off programme, Great British Menu, announced that Kochar, without doubt, was the best of the 14 in the competition.
