MUMBAI, May 28 (Reuters) - Tata Motors (TAMO.BO) is in talks with a state government in east India for 300 acres of land to build a vendor park, a senior executive said on Thursday.
"We will be inviting vendors to set up their units there for easier sourcing of components for our trucks," S. Borwankar said, referring to the venture in Jharkhand state.
He was speaking after announcing the launch of trucks from its new factory at Jamshedpur in the state. (Reporting by Janaki Krishnan; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
