JVM and BJP demand resumption of night trains

Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) JVM took torch-light processions in all railway stations in Kolhan area (East & West Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharswan district). BJP unconditionally supported this and outlined the future course. BJP has decided to gherao Chakradharpur divison Divisional Railway Manager's office and stage dharna in Chakradharpur on November 11.

After the Jnaneshwari express accident on May 28, 2010 near Jhargram railway station, Railway ministry decided to stop trains during night hours from 11 PM to 4 AM. This affected almost all trains starting from Howrah to Mumbai. Initially it was decided to put the stay for just 2 months, but its has now been more than 18 months. The night halt creates problems for every one specially people travelling on daily basis or ad-hoc way.

Hopefully the Railway ministry will listen and think of a better way to provide security to trains passing Kharagpur-Tata-Rourkela route.
