Bokaro (Jharkhand), Feb 1 (PTI) Chief Minister Shibu Soren today said the headquarters of Coal India Limited (CIL) should be in Jharkhand as the state has 40 per cent of the country's coal reserves.
"The headquarters of CIL should be in Jharkhand. So also that of the Damodar Valley Corporation," Soren told media to a query. Both have their HQs in Kolkata.
Asked when the ruling coalition would chalk out a common minimum programme, he said "it will be done very soon."
Soon after the formation of the government, Deputy Chief Minister and Ajsu President Sudesh Mahto had said the coalition would function through a common minimum programme.
On naxalism, Soren said development was the only way to keep the youth away from getting attracted to it and appealed to the Maoists to shun the path of violence.
