A city court Wednesday ordered the state vigilance department to file corruption cases against former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda and three former ministers for amassing wealth beyond their known sources of income.
The vigilance court ordered the filing of first information reports against Koda, Bandhu Tirkey, Kamlesh Singh and Bhanu Pratap Sahi on a petition filed by Rajiv Sharma.
According to official sources, the cases will be lodged after the vigilance department gets a copy of the court order.
The same court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants against two former ministers, Enos Ekka and Harinarayan Rai, June 27. Corruption cases have been lodged against them by the department, the sources said.
