Situated across the Subernarekha river, it's a huge and growing residential area. Once a suburb, thanks to construction entrepreneurs, it is now a real estate hotbed. Locations around Lake Dimna, offer the most scenic views in the City. Being outside the purview of JUSCO (see Administration above), this area is plagued with long power cuts & extremely bad roads because of poor drainage systems.
