Happy Holi

The festival of Holi is on 22 nd March 2008. Its spring time with colourful flowers blossoming every where. Come celebrate Holi with full enthusiasm and colour every one. This festival has a big Historic importance too. Its a time when we shed our egos, forgive our enemies and play colours with all of them. Its a big time to have a lot of Dahi Wadas, Puri, Kachori and Non-Veg. Its a time when we give respect to elders by touching their feet with colours.

There are few things which should be kept in mind while playing Holi -

1)There are various types of Chemicals being sold in the market during Holi. Please take care to purchase natural colours. As artificial colors and chemicals will cause irritation of skin.
2)Apply Mustard or coconut oil all over body and hairs so that your skin does not soaks colour.
3)Don't use Grease to colour anyone as it really burns.
4)Wear cotton clothes as its very comfortable.
5)Avoid wearing too much jewellery while playing holi and its better to remove them before playing holi.
6)Do not get heavily drunk. If you want to take alcohol stay at home and don't drive.
7)Wear rubber slippers or sandals as Leather slippers gets spoiled.

Its a Festival of happiness so don't hurt anyone.
