You can see various puja pandals at this time with colourful decorations. People spend a lot of money on "Pandals" and "Devi Murti". Bhog is served in pandals and "Havan" is done on the last day for removal of all impurities and for peace.
Many people do puja at home and do "Chandi Path" for bringing peace and prosperity at home.
