Danish cement and minerals technology supplier FLSmidth & Co A/S wins usd48m order from Tata Steel in India

Danish cement and minerals technology supplier FLSmidth & Co A/S (OMX Copenhagen:FLS) said on Tuesday (30 December) that its subsidiary FLSmidth Minerals has won a USD48m order from Tata Steel in India. The order covers design and delivery of a drying and grinding plant for a new iron ore pellet plant under construction at Tata Steel's existing facility in Jamshedpur. The work includes basic design and engineering, manufacture, supply and supervision of rotary dryers, ball mills, separators and bag houses, FLSmidth & Co said.
