LIC unaffected by global meltdown
Jamshedpur , Feb 10 The coutry&aposs leading insurance firre, the Life Insurance Corporation has felt little pinch of the global financial melt down, which has hit almost all industrial sectors across India, its Chairman T S Vijayan said today.
Vijayan told reporters that despite recession, LIC&aposs profit would not come down rather it might go up in the current fiscal.
Low operational cost was one of the main reasons for the comfortable situation, he said, adding, there would not be any adverse impact on bonus.
