Arjun Munda approves Airport proposal near Ghamria

Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Mumda has approved the proposal to construct a greenfield airport in Jamshedpur. The approval came after due consideration of traffic flow in the city and keeping future growth in mind.

A high level committee will look for suitable land in Gamharia locality. This team will be responsible for identifying location, processing papers, identify number of people being displaced, finding suitable place for displaced people, infrastructure requirements, traffic requirements, etc

The Airport at Jamshedpur will bring relief to business people frequently travelling to cities like Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai and other major business hubs.
