SINGUR: Seventeen youths, whose families have sold their lands for the upcoming Tata Motor project here, on Tuesday got appointment letters for jobs in the project.
Tata Motor corporate head, Mr M B Paralkar told reporters here that the boys had earlier been trained in their company in Jamshedpur. The boys would join the project tomorrow as 'trainees', he said. They have educational degrees ranging from Madhyamik to graduation. The youths expressed happiness over the pay package they were offered. - PTI
